The Internship and Placement Cell of Lloyd Law College is a body which provides the students with internship opportunities. These opportunities are provided twice in an academic year. The aim to provide these opportunities is to help students with appropriate internship and recruitment options where they can hone as well as discover their talents and pursue their interest, the Internship and Placement Cell (IPS) works ceaselessly and selflessly towards achieving these goals.

The very objective of the cell is to provide the students a planned transition from the university curriculum to a personal and professional setting in a students’ area of interest. It also helps the students in guiding and planning their practical training programs. Practical training forms a significant part of the academic curriculum in the university. The students of Semester I to IX have to undergo training under reputed NGOs, law firms, corporate offices, senior advocates, clerkship under the Honorable Supreme Court and High Court Judges and similar spheres.

Recruitment, we believe, is a process that involves engaging recruiters, building long-lasting relations and bringing together prospective recruiters and students to a platform where they can negotiate. The principal body entrusted with the responsibility of managing and conducting the campus recruitment process in Lloyd is the Internship and Placement Cell (IPC). The IPC comprises of students, faculty members and staff members. To facilitate the recruitment process like organizing Job Fest, the IPC functions under the guidance of the Convener and the members.

Having successfully completed the recruitment process for the earlier batches, it has been resolved that the recruitment process for the current outgoing batch of students from Lloyd would be on a rolling basis. It is pertinent to note that the recruitment programme has been structured into several stages that include pre-placement talks, pre-interview screening process, interviews and final placements.
